Align Networks focuses on proactive clinical management of our referrals to reach
non-contentious resolution of therapy within appropriate visit utilization guidelines.
Align Networks adopted best practice standards from ODG, ACOEM, MDA, APTA to develop
proprietary clinical guidelines that are used to clinically manage each referral.
Proactive Clinical Management
The Align Networks' Clinical Oversight Program operates on the fundamental strategies
of provider steerage and peer clinical reviews. Align Networks actively steers claimants
to providers who have demonstrated superior therapy results and performs ongoing
peer clinical reviews on a case by case basis as needed. Align Networks then retrospectively
measures clinical and administrative performance for all providers.
Provider Education
Additionally, Align Networks focuses on provider education - offering an online
training program on clinical management to ensure our providers are skilled in the
unique aspects of workers' compensation rehabilitation, and that they are proactive
and aggressive in the delivery of only medically necessary care based on the needs
of the individual patient.
Expert Clinical Advisory Panel
Align Networks has a panel of licensed clinical experts who are involved with operations,
provider education, industry policy making, research, publishing and the oversight
of therapy care in the Align Networks' program. Align Networks’ Expert Clinical
Advisory Panel is available as a resource to you.
